Research Interest: Katherine Kit Macochee NASH was my grandmother. There is some thought that she may have been of Native American descent. Preliminary searches of Nat.Am. sites do not indicate knowledge of any tribe known as Macogee in the Mingo, OH area, ca 1800's. B ook on Judge Piatt states this tribe was present during his time in/near W.Liberty/Mingo, OH. Any guidance/help much appreciated. THANK YOU.
